If I had to sum up one one word of my experience at Dicks House of Sport on Tuesday it would be intentional. I was invited on a VIP tour of the store and every little detail from the design, to the fitting rooms, to even the benches to sit on was thoroughly thought of. There really is nothing quite like this store. The first of its kind (yes, right here in Rochester!) this store has something for every sport lover.
When you first walk in the store, you will see a giant Jumbotron that is broadcasting local sports games and events. Throughout the store there are over 700 mannequins showcasing the latest trends and styles of the season and over 10,000 pair of shoes are available for the choosing. You can venture over to the rock climbing wall, batting cage, putting green, or even the 17,000 square foot turf field. Looking to work on your fitness?
One of my favorite parts of the store is the Health and Wellness Bar. A favorite local Juice company, Just Juice is featured right in the store. You can purchase protein powders, on top of other wellness products and can even schedule a consultation with a local wellness expert. Looking to bring some equipment back to your at-home gym? Chat with a team member about what is right for you. They also have items in stock! That is a plus in 2021!
This store really brings so much to the community. Unlike other typical stores, Dicks House of Sport offers so much more than just a retail experience. With experiences inside and outside the store, the store is set up for the most avid sports fan all the way to the casual shopper looking for a good lounge set.
