Last week I was able to visit the WoodHouse Day Spa again. It is quickly becoming my new favorite spot! I love everything from the robes, to the exquisite service and especially the smells! It is truly such a relaxing experience. Being a working mom, I rarely have time to relax. There is ALWAYS something that needs my attention whether it is my family, work, the house; the dog…..the list goes on. Whenever I step in to the day spa I know that is MY special time to relax.

When I went in the other day I received a seaweed pedicure. It was phenomenal. My first thought when I heard seaweed was no thank you! That belongs in the ocean, not on my legs. However seaweed has some great benefits to it, other than tasting amazing in sushi. It is known for its detoxing capabilities and also moisturizing abilities.
After the seaweed wrap I received a hot stone massage. I have never had one before and was honestly afraid my legs would be on fire afterwards. No fear, the stones are warm but not hot. I loved how the nail tech placed them in-between my toes as well. I am very ticklish on my feet but this had a nice relaxing feeling to it. At the top of the post you first saw a picture of a can of moisturizer, called Footlogix. I was told that this was the strongest moisturizer you can find on the market and assists in healing dry, cracked feet. I don’t specifically struggle with dry feet; but this product worked REALLY well and left my feet with a soft buttery feel minus the oil. I definitely recommend buying it.
I have been to several spas and I truly love the Woodhouse. The nail technician was so friendly and talkative. She spoke enough to make me comfortable but not so much that I felt like I could not relax. We even shared about our favorite sushi places in town.
