Faux Fur Winter Style

Two words, SO FUN! This jacket is the ultimate faux fur, with chevron patterns and earth tone colors. Shein Red Holiday Dress

I can’t say enough good things about this dress! First off my inner 90’s kid is screaming that I can wear sequins again as an adult. I obsoletely loved the holiday look this dress has to offer. Who says sexy has to consist of showing skin? This sleek and modest look just blew sexy out of the water while keeping it classy. The inside of this dress was soft and comfortable and the sequins did not make it uncomfortable at all.

This dress zips up in the back and and has such a flattering figure to it. As soon as I put it on my oldest daughter was squealing asking when she could wear it. The best part is that the dress is under $30! That is such a great price for a dress right in time for the holidays. I am wearing a size small for reference. I was very pleased with the quality of this dress and shipping time. You only have a short time before Christmas, so if you love this dress and price as much as I did I would buy one today!

I love, love this look! It was comfortable, cute, cozy and chic. I was very impressed with the clothes from ShopInspire Boutique. If you take a closer look at the sweater, it has tiny rhinestones on the shoulders and frayed edges on the bottom for a girly biker chick look. I love how one piece of clothing can send off two different vibes at the same time. I decided to pair this outfit with black skinny jeans from the shop as well.

To be honest I HATE ordering pants online from a store I have never shopped at before. You  never know what to expect and when I put an order in for these skinny jeans my expectations were low. However when they came in the mail and fit like a glove, I was beyond excited! Not having to go through the hassle of returns?! Yes please. Let’s talk Lace! When I first saw this shirt I fell in love. I loved how bright and crisp the white appeared and the lace detail gave it such a girly yet feminine vibe to it. The belle sleeves were a perfect addition without overdoing the general look. With a vintage feel to the shirt I paired it with my favorite express boot cut jeans. These jeans are so flattering and can be paired with almost anything!

The bottom of the shirt had a slight peplum look about it, flaring at the bottom. I enjoyed how the shirt had a fitted form to it while still maintaining some room to move about. My order was shipped quickly once it was placed and I was happy with the quality. The tank top underneath was slightly see through so I paired the top with my own white tank. Make Me Chic- Off Shoulder

Yesterday we got our Christmas tree! Every year we take our girls to The Garden Factory here In New York. It is filled with rides, food, crafts, light shows and Santa. Oh, and trees! My parents took me as a child and it so fun to pass on the tradition to my girls. I have a ton more pictures that I will share in a later post. The girls absolutely loved it, and soaked up every minute with pure bliss. I may have made my husband pull out over 50 plus trees to find the perfect one.

Today’s outfit was more of a casual look as we spent the day running around with the kids. This off the shoulder shirt from MakeMeChic is my favorite taupe color. Not only is it so comfortable it has a little bit of a flowy look to it at the ends. 90% of the time I carry around a food baby because I am such a foodie so I love shirts that give me some extra wiggle room. That’s a mom statement if I ever heard one, haha! This shirt is currently on sale for $13! Such a steal! Today’s blog post is about the “slouchy”. The slouchy is The Mint Julep Boutiques amazing sweatshirt. The slouchy is a cute and trendy long sleeve shirt that can be worn in multiple different ways. On top of that it is so incredibly comfortable. When I received the package in the mail I could not wait to wear them! The fabric was cotton and had a perfect fit as soon as I put it on. 

The part that I love most about the slouchy is how versatile it is. The wine colored slouchy was perfect for fall photos so I could not wait to dress it up with a hat and heels and take pictures in the leaves. I know it can be really hard to find fashion trends that are comfortable and trending, but that is the best part about this shirt. There are so many ways to style it!

Being a mom of two little girls I am on the go a lot and I am also home a lot. Being comfortable in what I am wearing is very important to me. I wanted to add a real life picture amongst the professional ones to keep things honest and real. Life is not always about dressing up and attending fancy events.  It is about cuddling on the couch and drying crying eyes while drinking all the coffee I can get. I may or may not have worn this pink slouchy all day and all night. It was the perfect comfy top for a tiresome day.

Shein Striped Dress

This is my new current favorite dress! I cannot say enough good things about it. First off the material is sooooo comfortable. You know those amazing high count thread sheets that you love to sleep in? I secretly think this dress is made from those sheets! Ok, maybe not but one can dream. 

This dress was fitted but still had some room for comfort. It also had a little bit of flow to it so I could pair it with a long cardigan. This dress is perfect for all season. I especially love pairing stripes in the fall with a deep mustard color. In the winter I can pair it with some tights and over the knee boots and once the weather warms up a bit in the spring I can wear it by itself.

THML Fall LookBook

Big comfy sweaters are my favorite fall trend. The saying “the higher the hair the closer to heaven”, I feel can be relatable when you put on your oversized snugly shirt for the day. Sweaters are just so inviting and if it is a gloomy day, forget about it I am making my way to the couch for a quick nap.

 This sweater is from THML Clothing Company. I am the least bit a fan of turtlenecks because of the constraint on your neck but I love the warmth they provide. This sweater featured below had the perfect compromise to my problem. The neckline almost appears to be a scarf and the button details add the cutest touch.

Stripes are always a flattering look and I love that these stripes are neutral. I have been on a big neutral kick lately and this sweater had me swooning as soon as I saw it. Some sweaters can leave an itchy irritated feeling, especially if there is material around your neck. This sweaters fabric was light enough that the material did not cling to your body but still added enough warmth without any irritation.

This drape front jacket is so cozy and fun to wear. The oversized grey look to me just appears to have a London-esque look . I have no idea why but it does. The plaid long sleeves could not have added a more fall appearance even if I tried. Typically I am not a fan of plaid, however this had just enough pop of design yet still subtle enough to be able to be paired with multiple outfits.

I recently went to a birthday celebration that was outside and it was COLD. Most people attending were wearing winter coats and all I brought was a thick sweater and this jacket. Needless to say I was not the least bit cold. I was pleasantly surprised at how warm I stayed in the jacket. The jacket itself was not heavy but provided the warmth and comfort that I needed.

Threadz N Thingz

I have recently collaborated with a company called “Thread N Thingz”. They are a newer company that launched this summer and bring their customers trendy affordable clothes. All three pieces that were sent to me are extremely comfortable. I am ALL about trending clothes but if the comfort level is not there, it does not leave me reaching in my closet to wear that same piece again. The items from Threadz N Thingz are so comfortable I could easily wear them as pajamas. I won’t, but if I happen to pass out on the bed wearing them it just might be ok.

This peplum top featured above is PERFECT for pairing. It is that perfect dark teal shade that embraces every color of fall. I am such a fan of flowy peplum tops, and this one lays perfectly. The scoop neck is great for pairing with necklaces, both statement and delicate ones.

This striped block tee shirt that I paired with boots is very flattering. Stripes are always a great choice for a slimming look and I love the contrast of solid black color with the stripes. I am not sure why but this top has such a fall look to it. Maybe it is the longer length that goes perfect with booties. Either way this top is another one that can get paired with a scarf and jacket for a complete look.

In my opinion every woman needs a LBD. I also believe that every woman needs a comfy black dress. This knit dress is not only comfortable but it is $14. $14!!! That’s such a great deal. I love how versatile this dress is. You can wear it so many ways. Whether you want to dress it up with heels or dress it down with sneakers, this dress is a closet staple that you can keep for years and will not go out of style. My wardrobe lately has been consisting of more basic clothes, but ones that I can pair multiple different ways. This dress is falls right into that category. Make Me Chic

This is probably one of my favorite outfits to date! I absolutely loved the way this dress looked and felt. It is made from cotton but is so soft and was such a fun, flowy dress. I am not typically a fan of tie-dye; however this dress with the booties and hat was the perfect fall look. I love wearing hats in the fall; they are such a great accessory to any outfit! This dress is from make me chic. I have been working with make me chic for some time now and I am always pleased with the quality of clothes. This dress and the dress below tend to run big so If you are interested I ordering them I would go down one size.

These booties are my favorite fall shoe! I never was a fan of the thick heel until recently, but it makes wearing heels so much easier. Especially when you are a baby mama and have those kids to lug around. I will admit I dont like compromising my fashion because I have a child in tow, so I always opt to find the next best way to wear it.

This white tunic below is another Make Me Chic find. This tunic is perfect because you can wear it multiple ways/ I really enjoy that the shirt has slits in the side because it allows for more room to move and flows better on your figure. I cannot wait to wear it with some over the knee boots and a big chunky scarf. Fall fashion is my favorite because you can wear all the comfy layers and giant sweaters. Albion Fit

Today is November 1 which means my clean eating detox begins! Which also means I need to get my butt into gear and start working out! With the holiday’s right around the corner that means food overhaul is coming and I need to prepare myself. I am a major foodie, especially when it comes to sweets however as much as I love them I know the damage it can cause. Today starts my three week clean eating detox eliminating sugar, dairy and wheat from my diet. So what am I eating? Protein, vegetables, fruits and water. Lots of water, a gallon a day to be exact. I wanted to share with all of my followers a detox that was not costly and could be done regardless of diet restrictions. I am not eating any less however just making very careful choices in what I eat. I have done this detox in the past and I felt better, had more energy, my skin improved and my hair felt healthier. I am also making sure to take my vitamins every day which I usually tend to forget. (no judgment zone)

Along with a clean diet I am also exercising on a regular basis. I am not doing any kid of extreme bootcamp or 30 day fix, just cardio and weights. I have a gym membership that unfortunately collects dust more than I like, so I need to keep myself accountable and try and go at least three times a week. Easier said than done, I know but when you have free child care at the gym it gives you all the more incentive to go.

These workout pants from Albionfit are my new favorite go to. These mesh tech leggings are so comfortable and have so much flexibility to them. I love having the option to wear workout clothes at the gym and at home because of how comfortable they are. When I wear workout gear I need to know that the material and quality is high and durable and I was very pleased with the fabric of these leggings. There is this theory that having cute workout clothes inspires you to work out more and that is very true! Albion fit has some great hoodies and sports bras as well that I will be investing in. I am a big fan of lululemon and I found these pants to be very comparable. I am wearing a size XS for reference (fits like a 1/3). Closet Access

One of my favorite things about social media, preferably Instagram is coming across new accounts. I was browsing the search bar and stumbled across a brand called Closet Access and instantly fell in love with their bags. They had a variety of bags to choose from all displaying exceptional quality while staying on track with the current trend. The designs were simple yet unique to the point where I did not feel like I would see someone else carrying this design of bag around. The Bag I choose was called the “have it all, carryall” bag and is made from genuine leather. When I started blogging it was a desire of mine to share affordable fashion ideas with my followers. As many of you know, leather is not always the most affordable option; however this bag cost less than $100. I thought that was a very reasonable price for a rather large leather bag.

The color I choose in this bag was Green. I love the different shades of green for fall and this shade is a deeper color, making it easier to pair with multiple outfits. The deep mustard, burgundy, navy and neutral colors that you see being advertised in stores are a perfect match for this shade of green. One aspect of the bag that I really enjoyed was multiple pockets. As a busy mom its important when investing in a bag that I have area to store things such as a pacifier or phone that will be easily accessible when I am in a pinch. There is a back zipper on the purse and also zippers and pockets on the inside for my convenience.  

 I also loved how sturdy the bag was. With kids in tow I need everything that I use to be durable. Something that can get dropped or marked on and not have to worry about it. Irresistible Me Hair Pt. 2

What better proof of showing what you love than a before and after? The first three pictures listed below are my hair naturally. I have fine, thin hair that requires a lot of hairspray to appear voluminous. Like most women I love for my hair to have that look of sheer volume but that is just not realistic when the numbers on my head are limited. That is why I love irresistible me hair extensions so much! They give my hair the volume that I need without the commitment. I am a big fab if clip ins because of how easy they are. It only takes 2 minutes and you are done. Personally I believe they are less damaging then professional extensions because you are not putting any chemicals or clamps in your hair. Skechers Fall Booties

Lets talk Fall booties! Booties have quickly become the "it" shoe of the season and I can see why! Not only are they cute, but they are easy to wear and can be worn to almost any event or day outing planned. As a mom I love that I can still have a heel on my shoe and balance holding my kids at the same time. No compromising there! Another great thing about the booty fad is the comfort level.

These Booties from Skechers are AMAZING and I do not say that lightly. This specific shoe has air cooled memory foam insoles and it literally feels like mini pillows in your shoe. I can honestly say hands down my most favorite pair of shoes I have ever owned. When I slipped my foot into them the first time I was shocked at how comfortable they were. I never knew such a stylish boot could be so comfortable at the same time. 

I kept this look pretty simple and easy to pair with the booties. Some other great choices to go with the shoe would be a fitted and flared dress,  a chunky sweater with shorts and the booties and even a long tunic with jeans paired with the booties. Skechers new look book has an amazing line of some new boots. I live in Upstate New York which means winter is coming soon and the new line of boots are going to be perfect for the snow that is about to come upon us! I will definitely be needing some winter boots asap!

Lace up and Chokers

Happy Friday! Is anyone else as excited as me that it is the weekend? The weather here in New York is pretty crummy with rain and grey skies. Perfect day for watching movies and catching g up on household chores I have been putting off.

Today we are talking about lace up and chokers! To be totally honest when I first saw this shirt I did not like it at all! I did not think the fit would look good on me and collars are not usually my thing. After looking at it again a few times I figured I would give it a try because I really am loving the lace up trend right now.

When I paired this outfit together I actually fell in love with it! The shirt is so soft and comfortable. It does not have a stiff feel to it, unlike some other collared shirts. I love how the criss cross detail is large on the shirt making it more of a bold statement. I am all for bold statements. I tend to shy away from them most of the time, but I always love when I see other people and bloggers making bold moves. I think I should take some lessons from them sometime!

ILY Blanket scarf

Lets talk accessories! ILY Mix sent me a pair of sunglasses and blanket scarf to style and I really love both of them! Whenever shipments come to me from other companies I have never ordered before I am always a little hesitant of the quality. I was pleasantly pleased with both items that I received. The best part? The glasses and scarf were both under $25!

This blanket scarf is so incredibly comfortable! Some scarfs leave an itchy or irritated feel to our skin, however this scarf is made up of a very soft cotton and i could easily sleep in it! It is light enough to wear all day and can be worn as a shawl as well.

Oliver Bilou

One of the best things about Instagram is coming across new and different accounts. I stumbled upon Oliver Bilou, a handbag website for the sophisticated lady. They feature three different bags and I instantly feel in love with all of them! My bag of choice was the deep blue vegan leather bag called, Amy. Amy is the epitome of a sophisticated handbag with a trendy twist. I love that the bag features tassels on the side. It has just enough fringe detail to make the bag pop. 

Being a busy mom, bags are very important in my day to day routine. I need something that can carry all of my essentials while still leaving room for diapers and wipes for my little one. I am past the stage of diaper bags but still have to carry a few things for my little ones, and this size bag is perfect for just that. It is the perfect size and proportion for any outfit. Not too big and not to small. 

As much as these bags are beautiful what the company stands for serve’s even a better purpose. A portion of the proceeds collected from these bags goes to charities that support children in developing countries. How amazing is that?! We lived in such a blessed country and I love that this company realizes that and is willing to share the love and wealth. Paradox Clothing

Lets talk suede! When I saw this pretty little dress on the shopparadox website I instantly fell in love! It is the perfect burnt orange color for fall. As soon as I saw it I thought about all the fun fall activities there to do. Pumpkin picking, hay rides, corn mazes, apple picking, and the list goes on. New York is an amazing place to live this time of year. The trees are beyond gorgeous and the air has a perfect cool crisp to it! We have a few farms around here with delicious made to order donuts.

So back to the dress! Sometimes suede can have a funny feeling to it and not always be the most comfortable material to wear. However this dress is the complete opposite! It was beyond comfortable to wear and I was even able to run around playing with my girls. Finding clothes that are fashionable and wearable for everyday life with kids can be really difficult. That is why I loved this specific dress.

I choose to pair this dress with over the knee boots but there are a few other looks that could go with this. For a date night out you could pair it with strappy black high heels. For an everyday look a pair of converse sneakers or Toms would be fun to wear. A pair of black booties and motto jacket is a perfect night out on the town look as well. I think I like that the best!

Coco and Main

Fall season is upon us and that means cozy sweaters and wraps! The bigger the sweater the more comfortable they tend to be. Coco and Main sent this poncho wrap to me and let me tell you, this is by far the highest quality wrap I have ever seen or owned! The material is such great quality and served a purpose of keeping me warm. Have you ever bought a wrap before and it looked beautiful but did not keep you warm on a cool fall night? Unfortunately I have been there!

I love the specific design of this wrap, since it has many fall colors weaved throughout. Coco and Main has an amazing sale going on right now where most of their wraps have been clearance down to $25! Keep in mind the quality of clothes is very high. Pineapple Lace

Pineapple lace is a store for all things girly! It has a southern boho chic vibe that offers styles for ladies as well as younger girls. They have some really cute mommy and me outfits that I have had my eye on for myself and my girls. I love the delicate pieces that were sent to me. 

The deep blue dress is made up of a lightweight fabric that is perfect for a late southern fall day. I absolutely love that the dress has pockets! There is a natural swing to the dress which makes it so comfortable and easy to wear. It was a little see through so I wore a full body tank. The lace detail on the hem of the dress was such a feminine touch and I loved pairing it with heeled boots. Cognac and blue are my favorite colors to pair, so that was my first choice as soon as I saw the dress.

The lightweight grey sweater was so cute but actually took me a while to figure out what to pair it with. I was so confused what shirt and pair of pants to wear when in reality it is the easiest sweater to match with. This deep wine shirt complimented the sweater so much, making it so comfortable and easy to wear. I have two little girls so wearing clothes that allow movement is a must with me. Both of these outfits were amazing, easy, and affordable! Everything on the pineapple lace site is great for a modest budget. I love sharing affordable fashion and this boutique makes me feel like my money is being well spent. Take a few minutes to browse over there site, especially if you have littles. They have some o fthe cutest tees for them.
